The Flood Angel™ Airbrick is designed to allow air to pass through, but not water; and will replace the standard airbrick. The design incorporates a flood-activated gate that allows unrestricted airflow complying to BS493:1995 but blocks the ingress of water along with a sealed unit that will not allow insects and debris in, which may otherwise impinge on the moving part. This mesh is imperative to the safe function of the airbrick and is unique to the Flood Angel™ Airbrick.

Without the protection of a Flood Angel™ Airbrick, a regular airbrick will actually allow over 500 litres of water per hour to enter the property.

The innovative design acts essentially as a standard airbrick allowing unrestricted airflow underneath the property, yet under flood conditions uses the rising water to automatically shut off, inhibiting access through airbricks and therefore flooding underneath the property.  Unlike sand bags no flood warning or pre flood intervention is required.

The Flood Angel™ Airbrick requires no external power supply to operate and can be easily cleaned post flooding, providing protection 24/7 over and over again.

The Flood Angel™ Airbrick is a straight replacement for a standard airbrick that will need to be removed.  The new Flood Angel™ Airbrick is then fitted into the hole using mastic and then pointed with sand and cement to match the exterior of the property.  They can be easily fitted by any competent builder, or by our nationwide network of installers.
