In the UK today there are mixed messages with regards to flood protection.
At UK Flood Barriers we offer training courses that will allow you to identify the areas of your property that need protecting, from single houses to pub chains, boiler rooms to power stations you need to know the products available to protect the property and you need to know your property’s weaknesses in order to address them.

We believe homeowners and Flood action groups, estate managers, Architects and engineers, builders and self builders would benefit form being able to see the problem of flooding at first hand and to know what products will protect each area and be able to identify the areas at risk.

UK Flood Barriers is the only company in the UK to have access to its own unique testing centre through it’s sister company Environmental Enterprises Ltd.  This enables us to test products in flood simulations at depths of up to 1 metre, wave simulation and water speeds in excess of 1.5 metres/second.  This far exceeds not just the original BSi Kitemark standards but the new revised BSi Kitemark which will be available from November 2009.
